AI in the workflow
Three different jobs that happen to use the same machinery: reading what you already have, doing the repetitive part, and making both trustworthy enough to rely on.
Why this comes up
Most AI features fail the same way. They are a chat box bolted onto the side of a product, so using one is extra work rather than less work, and the demo is more impressive than the Tuesday.
The useful versions are narrower and duller, and there are more of them than the usual conversation suggests. Twenty years of records in a format nothing can query. A step a person repeats forty times a day. A decision that is really a rule nobody wrote down. None of those need a chat box.
WHAT THE WORK IS
Unlock what you already have
- Legacy archives, scans and exports turned into something queryable, not just stored
- Records migrated out of a system nobody supports any more, with structure preserved
- Extraction from documents that arrive in formats that were never consistent
- Retrieval across your own corpus, returning passages traceable to a source
Do the repetitive part
- Multi-step workflows run end to end, with a person approving the consequential steps
- Triage and routing, where being wrong is cheap and reversible
- Drafting from your own templates and prior work rather than from the open internet
- Reconciliation and matching across systems that disagree with each other
Make it trustworthy
- Every answer carries where it came from, so a person can check it without redoing it
- A human approves anything that changes a record, sends something out or spends money
- Cost per operation measured, because an unbounded agent loop is a bill
- Measured against how long the task took before, so the claim is evidence rather than a feeling
What you get
- Data you could not previously search, queryable, with the migration documented
- At least one workflow measurably faster, with the before and after written down
- Output a person can check rather than has to trust
- A clear statement of where we chose not to use a model, and why
Right when
People retype, re-read or re-key the same things, or an archive exists that nobody can actually use.
Wrong when
A rules engine, a dropdown or an integration would do it. We will say so before you pay for a model.
The rest of what we do
IT STARTS WITH THE AUDIT.
Free, and it ends with an honest read on whether you need us. That is the only commitment to make right now.
