We stopped. Now we are back.
BEESTUDIOX built software for other people, and then for a few years it did not. The studio went quiet while the people in it went and built products of their own, which turned out to be the more useful apprenticeship: owning a thing in production teaches you what an agency deadline never will.
That is where MobUnlock came from, and LedgerPad, and the retrieval engine underneath ModulawAI. Three different problems, all of them about making something stay correct when the conditions are bad.
The studio is open again on purpose, with a narrower idea of what it is good at than it had the first time.
Where we work
LAGOS BASED. CLIENTS ANYWHERE.
We are in Lagos and most of our work is remote, which means the question is not where we are but whether the working relationship holds across a distance. These are the parts of that we have made deliberate.
Timezone
Lagos is GMT+1. That is a working day shared with the UK, Europe, the Middle East and the US east coast.
Working style
Written by default. Decisions land in the repository and the tracker, not only in a call, so the record survives the people on it.
Where the code lives
Your repository and your cloud account, in the region you need it, from the first commit.
Currency
We invoice in Naira or USD. Clients outside Nigeria are billed in USD.

Work that suits us
- Work where the constraint is real: no network, a cheap device, a messy corpus, a regulator
- Systems that have to talk to other systems and stay correct when one of them lies
- A process somebody can describe end to end, even if it currently lives in a spreadsheet
- Projects where we can ship something usable early, not only at the end
Work we turn down
- Work priced on a headcount number rather than on what is being built
- A rebuild of something that works, when the real problem is one missing feature
- An AI feature with no job, added because a board asked for one
- A scope nobody will own on the client side once we are gone
